This role offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 5+ years of employment litigation experience to engage in significant client-facing work and develop their practice under the guidance of skilled leaders in the Labor & Employment space. Key Responsibilities:
• Independently handle trial and arbitration cases.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, manage discovery, and draft and argue motions.
• Take and defend depositions, and participate in mediations and trials.
• Handle litigation matters involving discrimination cases and restrictive covenant issues.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5+ years of employment litigation experience.
• Proven trial and arbitration experience.
• Strong background in drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and arguing motions.
• Experience in taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediations and trials.
• Expertise in discrimination cases and restrictive covenant issues.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Admission to the Texas Bar.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
